About Business
Program Options
CCC offers two credentials in this area depending on whether your next step is the workforce or a four-year university.
Associate of Business (ABUS) — Transfer Degree
Designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year university in business administration, management, marketing, finance, or a related field. Includes the Arizona General Education Curriculum for Business (AGEC-B), which transfers as a block to NAU, ASU, the University of Arizona, and Grand Canyon University.
AGEC Certificate
A standalone transfer credential that satisfies the lower-division general education requirements for business majors at Arizona public universities. A good option if you are focused on transfer but not yet ready to complete a full degree.

Transfer option
Students planning to transfer to a four-year university in business, management, marketing, finance, or a related field should pursue the Associate of Business (ABUS), which includes the AGEC-B. Several BUS courses transfer directly with course equivalency to Arizona’s public universities.
Completing the AGEC-B with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher guarantees admission to any Arizona public university, though it does not guarantee admission to a specific program within that university.
