Grants
Need-based aid that generally does not have to be repaid. Grants can come from federal, state, or institutional sources.
Scholarships
Funds awarded to students based on various criteria, such as academic merit, talent, or financial need.
Work-Study/Student Employment
Part-time jobs that let students earn money while attending college.
Student Loans
Borrowed funds that students must repay with interest after graduation or when they stop going to school.
Employer & Third-Party Assistance
An employer, Veterans Affairs, workforce program, Vocational Rehabilitation office, or another organization helps to cover college costs.
Emergency Aid
Emergency funding and support for students facing unexpected costs that may prevent them from completing their schooling.
